What's new?
  • Time off for training: employees of businesses with 250 or more employees now have the right to request time off (unpaid) for training. See: time off to train Paid up members, or Pay as you go.
  • Minimum Wage: as from October 2010 there will be a separate National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices. See: key statistics.
  • Code of Practice: a new ACAS Code of Practice covers time off for trade union duties and activities, and includes guidance on time off for union learning representatives. See: unions Paid up members, or Pay as you go.
